WE ARE A COMMUNITY OF FAITH THAT LOVES GOD, LOVES EACH OTHER, AND LOVES THE WORLD.

We believe that serving God should not be complicated. So we decided on a mission statement that summarized what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

LOVE GOD

In 1 John 4:19, it says, “We love God because He loved us first.” It’s that simple. Our response to the love of God is a choice to show Him love in return. We demonstrate that love to Him by doing our best to obey His commands. That means that we devote ourselves to the teachings of Scripture, engage our hearts and minds in prayer and in worship, both personal and corporate.

LOVE EACH OTHER

John 13:35 says, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” We are better together. There is a synergy that happens when are are in community together. We grow in our relationship with Christ by growing in our relationship with each other. We want to spur each other on in love and in good deeds.

LOVE THE WORLD

John 3:16 tell us that, “God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” God loves the whole world, and we, as his disciples are called to love them as well. Romans 10:14-15 reminds us, “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?”
